A Tour Through the Church of Scientology Tampa

Church of Scientology Tampa Building
Almost 100 years ago in 1908, a Spaniard named Andres Diaz moved his factory from New York to Tampa. This building still bears his name.
This building is one of eleven remaining brick cigar factories in West Tampa, remnants of an industry has made Tampa the cigar capital of the world.
While the rest of the country was suffering hard times and economic panics, West Tampa was thriving and growing.

The Andres Diaz Building Sign
In its prime, the Andres Diaz factory had 200 workers.

Reception
Scientology ministers perform the same types of ceremonies and services that ministers and priests of other religions perform. At these services the minister will speak about some topic related to an important Scientology principle or practice and discuss how it can be applied in daily life.
The Chaplain also ministers to Scientologists on a more personal level and can assist members of the Church with difficulties they may be experiencing in life. They are trained in ministering Scientology marriage counseling, which is an exact technology to alleviate marital problems.
Chaplains and Scientology ministers have successfully salvaged thousands of marriages.
